Sendek should feel so guilty for all those contract extensions, he should be donating half his salary to the parts of the university affected by the legislature's latest budget cuts.

It truly is the ultimate joke behind Arizona State University's status now. Get your budget for education cut to nothing and still make your students each pay a $50 "athletics fee" to keep a sub-mediocre basketball coach employed just for beating U of A once every couple years.

It would be like extending Niya Butts at that salary every few years. Herb's not far behind her.

I just figured he had already checked out of his room and couldn't get room service but eating alone? Man he looks like a beaten down man

That was my reaction - order room service so you can sulk in your hot tub! Seeing those photos makes me think of Walter White sequestering his lonesome in Vermont, playing chess by himself and swallowing handfuls of pills. Just a pitiful sight.

Makes me wonder if Herb is instead rooming at that hooker hangout video poker motel across from the Mandalay Bay. It's the type of place you only tolerate if you and your friends have been kicked out of the casino, or in Herb's case, I guess, the Pac 12 tournament.

sounds like most every corporate executive out there

my buddy who works for a hospital network in phoenix just had one of their top executives fired. he got at least a $1 mill severance.
